Wild Lot House Residency Coming Soon

Wild Lot House, located outside of Midland, Ohio, less than an hour from Cincinnati and Dayton (and about 1 1/4 hours from Columbus), will be available for short-term (week-long) and long-term (1 month) residencies. Our 19th-century saltbox farmhouse has space to accommodate both small groups and families, and will feature a wheel-chair accessible first floor master suite. A residency stay at Wild Lot House will be a low-fi, immersive experience, rural (but not remote!), surrounded by meadows, woods, farmland, and a few homesteading neighbors.

While we aim to keep costs low for all participants, competitive full and partial scholarships will be available to offset expenses for those unable to pay the full amount, with special funding reserved for women, families with children, and indigenous and underrepresented persons. Anyone with a creative project or goal who could benefit from time in our pastoral residency is welcome to apply.

Though renovation was delayed due to COVID-19 and other pandemic-related disruptions, we are working hard to put on the final touches. You can follow our progress on Instagram.

We are currently looking for beta testers. In exchange for a week’s stay we ask only for copious feedback and a few shout-outs on social media. If this sounds like you, feel free to drop us a line!
